Comedian turned hero Sunil has got recognition as a comedian and with the intention of becoming a solo lead hero, he has tried his luck in acting, with few films; he made it big but these days he is tasting more failures than the hit movies. He has been trying his luck now with his upcoming film as a hero with the film Jakkanna. He has failures in the previous films. All his recent films Mr. Pellikoduku, Bhimavarm Bullodu and Krishnashtami, have failed at box office.

Jakkanna and Eedu Gold Ehe are his upcoming films now. Jakkanna is directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella. Mannara Chopra is playing the female lead in the film. Jakkanna is all set to hit the big screens on 29th of this month. Sunil pinned a lot of hopes on the film.

The comedian turned hero Sunil’s upcoming comedy entertainer “Jaakkanna” is getting ready to hit the Tollywood screens on 29th July. Sunil is making a strong comeback with this flick which features Priyanka Chopra’s cousin sister Mannara Chopra as a female lead. Being directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella and produced by Sudharshan Reddy, Jakkanna was previously known to release on 22nd, but it has been postponed because the much awaited Superstar Rajini’s Starrer “Kabali” is releasing on the same day. Hence the makers of Jakkanna decided to postpone their movie, and now they’ve fixed its release on 29th July.

While announcing the release date “Jakkanna” film hero Sunil said,”the film is about a young guy who intends to help others, but while doing so the situation gets reversed, how he faced these things are shown in this comedy entertainer”. The film also features Posani Krishna Murali and Sapthagiri playing vital roles.
