Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming film is Iru Mugan. Nayanthara and Nithya Menen played the female leads in the film. The film directed by Anand Shankar. The makers are very much happy and excited with the way the film was made. The film has Vikram playing dual roles. In one of the roles, he will be seen as a RAW agent and in the other role he will be seen as a Transgender. The transgender role has negative shades too. Vikram is highly confident that the film is going to be a big hit. He is following a sentiment now that if a hero plays both the protagonist and antagonist in the film, the film becomes a hit.

The same happened in the past with Vikram’s Aparichithudu. Also with Ajith’s Vaali, Rajinikanth’s Robo and Kamal Haasan’s Dasavatharam. The film is slated for a release in the month of September.

Vikram’s upcoming film ‘Iru Mugan’s release date is out. Latest reports suggest that makers have decided to release ‘Iru Mugan’ on the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi, on September 5. Even though the film was earlier slated for release in the month of July, the delay in shooting has pushed the release to September.

In this medical thriller, Vikram will be seen in a never before seen avatar. ‘Iru Mugan’ is directed by ‘Arima Nambi’ fame Anand Shankar with ‘Puli’ producer Shibu Thameens producing the visual extravaganza on a very high budget.

The recently released first teaser impressed movie lovers with its visuals and the intense background score. The immaculate looks of ChiyaanVikram and the sultry presence of Nayanatara and Nithya Menon was icing on the cake.

The shooting is currently progressing in Chennai.

After the debacle of 10 Endrathukulla, Chiyaan Vikram’s fans were eagerly waiting for their favorite actor’s forthcoming film and are eager to watch Vikram in a dual role for the first time in his acting career. Starring Nayantara and Nithya Menon in prominent roles, Iru Mugan is directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame. The movie is produced by Shibu Thameens, who was the producer of Vijay’s Puli.

The makers recently unveiled the rocking still of Vikram from the film. He is sporting a fresh, new look for the film and currently filming action scenes in a large tunnel set has been recreated in the city for these scenes.The tunnel was created at a cost of nearly Rs 4 crore. Once the Chennai schedule is over, the team is heading to Bangkok and then Kashmir. Nithya Menen will also join the shoot.

As per the latest reports, the makers of Iru Mugan have decided to release the film on July 8th, which is on the Ramzan festival and the audio and teaser will be unveiled in Mid May. Official confirmation is awaited in this regard.
