Victory Venkatesh is currently gearing up for his next film release. The film is titled as Guru. Guru stars Venkatesh in the lead role playing the boxer role. Ritika Singh is the female lead of the project. She is playing a boxer, and Venkatesh is playing the boxing coach. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and is produced by Y Not Studios banner. The film was supposed to release in the month of January, but it was pushed to April.

The latest buzz in the industry now reveals us that the film will be preponed and releases in the month of March. As per the latest buzz in the industry, the film Guru will be released in the last week of March and most likely on 31st of March.

The postponement spree is continuing in South film industry currently. Usually, the film releases postpone because of the delay in the shoots and other reasons. Very recently, the demonetisation has also showed its effect on the film releases. The film Singham 3 also faced the same issue. Singham 3 has finally got a release date as 9th February. The film was postponed almost three times. Now, Venkatesh starrer Guru also got postponed. Guru is the official remake of the bilingual film titled as Irudhi Suttru.

The film completed its shoot and the post-production activities have also come to an end. The film was supposed to release on 26th January on the occasion of Republic Day but it was now pushed to a later date. As per the reports coming in, the film will be releasing in the month of April.
