On the eve of MahaShivaRathri, the opening ceremony of Mass Maharaja-VI Anand-Ram Talluri’s ‘Disco Raja’ held at SRT Entertainments office. Producer Rajini Talluri clapped for the first shot while Ram Talluri switched on the camera. RX100 fame Payal Rajput and Nannu Dhochukundhuvate fame Nabha Natesh will be playing leading ladies in the film. Regular Shooting will be started from tomorrow. Disco Raja is the second project after Nelaticket in this banner. The first look motion poster which was released on Raviteja’s birthday has garnered an immense response from the movie lover and fans of Raviteja.

While speaking, Ram Talluri said “First of all, wish you a very happy Mahasivarathri to all Telugu audience. We’ve kick-started our second project with Raviteja after Nelaticket. Regular shooting will be started from tomorrow onwards. Nabha Natesh and Payal Rajput will be the leading ladies in the film. The story narrated by VI Anand is extraordinary and we are planning to produce this movie without compromising on budget constraints. We have roped in top technicians in the industry to work for Disco Raja.”

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja has scored a hat-trick of flops last year in the form of Touch Chesi Chudu, Nela Ticket and Amar Akbar Anthony. His last hit was Raja The Great, which was released in 2017. This year, he is testing his fate with the film Disco Raja, directed by VI Anand.

The project was announced long back but it didn’t go on the sets till now. The first look poster of the title was also released a month ago and it was reported that the shoot commences from the start of February, but it didn’t. According to the sources, Ravi Teja is the reason behind this delay.

Apparently, Ravi wasn’t satisfied much with the script narrated by Anand and asked him to make few major corrections. Anand is still working on them and hence the movie is not able to go onto the floors as expected.

Surprisingly, Samantha’s next film which is titled as ‘O Baby, Entha Sakkagunnave’ is also based on the same movie. The original revolves around women but the director is said to have made necessary changes to the script to make it appeal for our audiences.

We have finalised “Disco Raja” title to this project. Top technicians in the industry along with VI Anand will work for this crazy project. Thaman SS will compose the music, Sai Sriram will be the Cinematographer. Abduri Ravi is penning the dialogues for this movie. Three heroines will be romancing with Raviteja and Bobby Sinha will play the antagonist in the film. Vennela Kishore, Sathya, and other actors will feature in the project. Now we are under pre-production works and we are going to start the first shoot schedule very soon.
