Devi Sri Prasad-Boyapati Fight It Out

Not all success meets are fun right? That certainly seemed to be the case at ‘Legend’ success party held yesterday at Ramanaidu Studios,Hyderabad. All seemed well when Balakrishna was felicitating the crew of ‘Legend’ who, according to him, worked really hard to make the film a roaring success!

However, Hell broke out when Director Boyapati started speaking.Addressing the media, Boyapati said, “I strived really hard to extract the desired output for ‘Legend’ from Devi Sri Prasad. I really had to sweat it out with him during the 15-day stay in Chennai where we were re-recording. DSP ensured we had a tough time during the final mixing phase at Prasad labs for about 56 long hours.”

Meanwhile, DSP grabbed the mike from Boyapati and indirectly fired embarrassing counters to Boyapati. He clarified that that he too is a ‘professional’ who works for not less than 17hrs a day. He disclosed that Boyapati visited the re-recording phase just for three days, and just spent his time watching English movies.

He added that he himself is not such a mediocre personality who brings difference in the presence/absence of a film.
“Every technician in the team should be credited unlike Boyapati who is trying to grab all the credit.”, said a visibly-angry music director Devi Sri Prasad.

The duo who shared a great rapport until some time ago, surprised everyone present with their tussle. It was perhaps for the first time that a professional displeasure between them has come out in the open.

All this drama happened before none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna who rather chose to keep mum on the issue and managed to smile all throughout the evening after this verbal duel between his comrades.

Well, this certainly wasn’t a ‘Legend’-ary evening !
