Senior and traditional looking Devayani has won millions of hearts in Tollywood with her girl next door look in many films during 90s decade. She even starred with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in Suswagatam, which was a super hit. However, she faded from the lead actress roles and was best noted for her performance in Nani as Mahesh Babu’s mother.

After years, she bagged a chance to act opposite Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal for Jr NTR’s upcoming flick Janata Garage. But, unfortunately, she lost the chance as the makers of Janatha Garage felt that she wasn’t suiting the character perfectly. However, Devayani is now replaced with another stellar actress Suhasini Maniratnam.

Suhasini is well known for remarkable performances in Telugu post heroine phase such as Nuvvu Naaku Nacchav and Leader. However, it would be quite interesting to see her sharing screen space with Mohanlal this time.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also features Samantha and Nithya Menen as the female leads in the film. The shooting is currently progressing at a jet speed, and it is slated to hit the screens on August 12th, 2016.

Young tiger NTR Jr’s ‘Janatha Garage’ continues to impress with its stellar cast.

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, actresses Samantha and Nithya Menen, Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan were already roped in to play the pivotal characters in the film.

Now, the makers of ‘Janata Garage’ have roped in actress Devayani to play the role of Mohanlal’s wife. Davayani was last seen on Telugu film screen in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Nani’, playing the role of Mahesh’s mother. She won accolades for her sentimental and powerhouse performance. Now, ‘Janata Garage’ will bring her back to Tollywood.

Koratala Siva is a genius in roping in actors for key roles. It may be noted that he made Satyaraj and Nadiya famous in Tollywood through Prabhas starrer Mirchi. After roping in powerful actors, Janatha Garage is raising the curiosity. It will go on floors on February 20.

Devayani, the heroine who acted with Pawan and Mahesh in Tollywood and all the superstars in South India, is now donning the real life role of a teacher in Tamil Nadu. She was now the teacher for 4th standard children in Church Park school.

Parents of these children were elated knowing that Devayani took charge of their children in the absence of a teacher in that school. It seems that this school faced tough time when a teacher went on a long leave. Devayani took the initiative and replaced that teacher for the time span.

It seems that Devayani has the wish to be a teacher and by this act she even fulfilled her dream. As per the talk, Devayani has been teaching children with love and affection and hence the children are showing utmost interest in her class.
