Young and talented singer Revanth is popular for crooning Manohari from the movie Baahubali. He was also famous for winning the Indian Idol season 9 title. After winning Indian Idol, he became the singer on demand in Telugu film industry. Meanwhile, we have come to know about a fraud involving this popular singer.

Apparently, some unknown people have been targeting Revanth fans for money by luring them with the offer of arranging a meeting with Revanth. Surprisingly, this happened on some of the accounts that are claiming to be his fan pages.

A surprised Revanth came to know about this through friends. In order to control and prevent the damage, he immediately approached the cyber-crime officials and registered a police complaint with them. The cops are now investigating the case and we are awaiting further developments on the same.

Fake accounts do create a lot of troubles for the heroes and heroines. Many at times in the past, this has happened and the latest we have come to know is about actor Srinivas Reddy’s troubles with a social media account that is pretending to be himself. Apparently, a stranger has created a Facebook account with his name and lured a lot of persons with opportunities. The actor realized it very late and immediately approached the cyber crime police officials.

Finally, the cops tracked him down as Ravi Kiram from Ameerpet area. The cops responded immediately and took him into their custody. The cops have come to know that he earlier worked as an assistant to a lot of other artists in the industry.

As the person has accepted his crime, the cops have given counseling to him and sent him away with a warning.

Director Shekar Kammula has approached the cyber crime police officials with a complaint on an unknown person who is claiming to be his assistant director. Apparently, Shekar Kammula has come to know that a person claiming to be his assistant luring young actors on Quikr and OLX that he will provide acting opportunities and will give the access for the auditions. For the same, he is apparently taking money on the name of Shekar Kammula.

Shekar Kammula hence approached the cybercrime officials and he told that there are no assistants currently working with him. He has requested the cops to look into the issue in a serious way and trace down the fraud who is trying to misuse his name and popularity.
