Star actress Alia Bhatt has fallen sick while shooting for her upcoming film Brahmastra in Varanasi. Everything seemed to be normal until Alia returned to Mumbai when the shooting schedule is in a midway. When the actress came back home, her official sources stated that she is down with viral fever.

Alia will take rest for few more days and will not get back to work till she recovers fully. We now hear that the team of Brahmastra will reshoot the unfinished portions of Varanasi in the month of November. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, Brahmastra is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee. 

Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy will be seen in the other important roles of the movie. Touted to be a fantasy mythological drama, Brahmastara is slated to release in next summer. It is being produced by Karan Johar.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently in Bulgaria shooting for their fantasy drama ‘Brahmastra’. On Wednesday, the rumoured lovebirds had two special visitors on the sets on Wednesday.

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind along with the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev visited the sets of the ‘Brahmastra’ being directed by Ayan Mukerji. The President office tweeted the same “#PresidentKovind and President Radev dropped in at the studio in Sofia where the Hindi film Brahmastra is being made. The Presidents met the Indo-Bulgarian crew and chatted about cinema as a business and cultural link between the two countries,” and added some pictures from the sets. Our President is on an eight-day three-nation visit to Europe with his wife Ruman Devi. The duo Presidents spent time on the sets and talked with the team.

Ranbir Kapoor looked much excited hosting the Presidents of the two countries. The entire crew including director Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt etc posed to the camera with the two dignitaries. Brahmastra is a part of a trilogy. Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna are also playing vital roles in this flick which is slated to hit the theatres in August 2019.

Nagarjuna Akkineni is a famous hero in Telugu film industry. The actor is also popular in Tamil and sometime back he acted in a film called Thodari, which is the Tamil version of the Telugu movie Oopiri. A lot of Tamil directors have worked with Nag and he is a known actor in Kollywood. In Kannada and Malayalam film industries also, Nagarjuna enjoys fame but Nag restricts himself to Tollywood in particular.

It is heard that Nag decided to make a comeback in Bollywood film industry now. The latest media reports indicate that Nagarjuna will be playing an important role in an upcoming Hindi big-budgeted superhero fantasy flick titled Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is Produced by Karan Johar and Distributed by Fox Star.

“Ayaan is my best friend. He took five years to complete the script work. He penned the story in three parts. The movie is having a unique story. We are erecting a real set for the shoot of our movie.” said Ranbir about the movie.

Amitabh is playing a key role in the film. Karan Johar is producing the movie under Dharma Productions banner.
