The 23-year old son of actress Bhuvaneshwari was arrested by the Tirumangalam police on charges of harassing a third-year MBBS student and allegedly threatening to pour kerosene on her.
According to police reports, Midhun Srinivasan is the son of actor Bhuvaneshwari. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in a private college in the city and resides at Valasaravakkam. He was arrested based on a complaint from a third-year MBBS student who claimed that he has been stalking her on social media and has been harassing her in person.
He has been booked under sections 354-B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe), 448 (punishment for house-trespass), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), 506 (criminal intimidation) and section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act (penalty for harassment of women).
