Much awaited movie of Anushka’s Bhagmati is going on at a brisk pace. Latest update from this movie’s unit reveals an interesting thing.

Touted to be a science fiction story this film will be a visual treat for historic lovers. A special set has been erected to bring the ambiance of 400 years old houses. This house will be canned in the current schedule of this flick. The unit’s crew said that the entire team has been working hard to make this flick, a memorable one. Anushka has been working for this flick since last year. This film also features a Malayalam hero in a key role.

Directed by Krishna of Pilla Zamindar fame, this movie will showcase Anushka in a powerful investigative cop role.

Although it was rumored earlier that ‘Bhagmathi’ will be a complete historical film set in ancient Hyderabad, the film’s unit ridiculed it by saying it will be a contemporary thriller. But, latest reports revealed that a huge historical set is being erected for the film. This made it clear that the movie is a contemporary subject laced with historical elements.

‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame Ashok is the director with UV creations makers serving as producers. The way the present is interlinked the ancient story of ‘Bhagmathi’ is the backbone of the project. Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan will pair opposite Anushka. After wrapping up Baahubali and Singam 3, Anushka will divert her complete attention to this film.

It is common knowledge that bubbly actress Anushka Shetty will be seen in Bhagmati. The film will be directed by Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame. As per the latest reports, the makers have zeroed down tall and stunning beauty Tabu for a key role.

It is learnt that Anushka will be seen in a super tough character in the movie. Bhagmati, which is influenced by historical events, will be launched soon. A source close to the unit said that Tabu would be seen as Anushka’s mother in the film.

However, an official confirmation about the same is yet to be received from the makers. The makers have yet to finalize the other cast and crew of the film. The pre-production works are going on in a full swing.

The actor Unni Mukundan is currently busy with his Telugu debut film “Janatha Garage”, playing the antagonist role opposite to Hero Jr.NTR. Anushka is going to surprise everyone with a new role in her next movie. As per the sources, she is doing a tough cop role in the movie. The shoot of this film started silently in Hyderabad a couple of days back. The tentative title for the movie is Bhagmati. The makers are in talks to change the title of this movie. Due to some reasons, Anushka is over weighted now. She is now concentrating more on getting slim to fit the cop role.

Hit banner UV Productions is producing this movie. Ashok G is the director. This is mostly a female oriented movie, and the genre will be a thriller. Cop and thriller is a rare combination in Telugu. Hope it will work out well.

It has Anushka Shetty in the lead role. UV Creations is producing the film.

Anushka Shetty, who is enjoying the success of two movies ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Rudhramadevi’, is now gearing up for her next release ‘Size Zero’ that will release by the end of the year. She has proved that she can pull off any role from time to time to entertain the audience.

To prove how well she can take off film’s that don mostly or partly on heroines, Baahubali, Rudramadevi, Arundhati are good examples. Once Anushka completes the shooting Baahubali-2, Singham-3 and Bhagamathi, she joins this new film.

The shooting of this film is expected to start once Anushka is free of ‘Baahubali 2’. As per sources, Anushka first rejected the script narrated by director Ashok then why did she accept later?

Sources added that Prabhas has played the key role in convincing Anushka for this film. The film is produced by UV Creations makers Vamsi and Pramod, the close friends of Prabhas.

When they expressed the idea of ‘Bhagmati’ in front of Prabhas, the macho actor immediately convinced Anushka to accept the role, thus making her act in another historical film.
