From the past few years, the Telugu films are doing extremely well at the National Awards and that tradition repeated this year as well. Many Telugu films like Mahantai, Awe, Rangasthalam and Chi La Sow bagged awards in some major categories. There is also a Telugu guy who won a national award but for a Marathi film.

He is popular cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti who handled the camera work for Marathi blockbuster Sairat. Interestingly, Sudhakar bagged the Indira Gandhi Best Debut Director National Award for his maiden directorial film Naal. 

Naal follows the journey of an eight-year-old boy who explores for motherly love. The movie is beautifully shot and is accompanied by heartwarming performances of all the actors. Sudhakar is currently working as the DOP for Telugu film George Reddy which is slated for the release in a couple of months.

Star heroine Kajal hasn’t been bagging many offers these days. Continous flops might be considered as the major reason for that. Her last film Sita is a disaster and she has now pinned all the hopes on her next film Ranarangam, which is slated for the release on the 15th of August.

Apart from that, Kajal is acting in Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s big-budget film Indian 2. We also heard that she is playing as a female lead in Manchu Vishnu’s English film. According to the latest buzz, Kajal has signed an experimental film with director Prasanth Varma of Awe fame.

Both Kajal and Prasanth worked earlier for Awe and the former got rave reviews for her performance in that film. It was heard that Kajal wanted to produce this new film initially but she now baked out as a producer and will only act in the movie. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.

Senior hero Rajasekhar is currently busy listening to a lot of scripts. After the success of Garuda Vega, he has not signed any new film but is only hoping to come up with an interesting project soon. Going by the latest buzz in the industry, we have come to know that Rajasekhar is going to team who with the director Prasanth Varma who made his successful debut with Awe.

The update is that the movie is going to be titled as Kalki. The script work is currently in progress and the discussions are going on for the same. As of now, nothing has been confirmed and the film unit is going to make an official announcement very soon.

A different Telugu film titled Awe official teaser is out now, already the makers created a buzz with actors looks from the posters. Now teaser creating a positive buzz on film.

The film has Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Srinivas Avasarala, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Murali Sharma, Rohini Molleti and others in lead roles. Natural Star Nani and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja giving the voice for this flick.

The movie directed by Prasanth Varma and Mark K Robin scored music. It is being produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and presented by Natural Star Nani under Wall Poster Cinema banner.

Nani, the Natural Star has given the best birthday gift to the actress Regina Cassandra. The actress is a part of Nani’s next production titled AWE in the direction of a newcomer Prashanth Varma. On the occasion of the birthday of Regina Cassandra, the makers have released the first look of the actress from the film.
