Asin got married to her long-time beau Rahul Sharma in a grand wedding ceremony on January 19, 2016.

“For all my media friends who still have not got the message, I’m once again reiterating that I have stopped taking up any assignments and have wrapped all my commitments before my wedding itself including my brand endorsements. Request people to stop making assumptions about my assignments and work as I’m not doing that at this stage. I made this announcement before the wedding itself.” Asin posted on her Instagram account and gave a clarification which will put an end to all the rumours.

Asin and Micromax founder Rahul Sharma have officially married today. The couple had a church wedding in the morning in Delhi and it was followed by another wedding in the evening as per Hindu rituals.

The event was a private affair with just around 50 members, close friends and family members, in attendance. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who was responsible for the love affair of the duo, was said to be part of the wedding ceremony.
