Yes folks, the flick released its teaser trailer the day before yesterday and already its Youtube views have crossed 800,000 as of this evening. Given the momentum it’s gathered so far, it might hit the coveted one million mark by midnight tonight – just 48 hours after it came out!
Now, that’s an achievement to be lauded and to add more prestige to the whole thing, it has climbed the charts in terms of trending views and is now second only to Hangover from Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Kick. It already beat the Sunny Leone sensational Pink Lips video!
Kollywood must be on cloud nine and it has a right to be there! This certainly shows the regional fan base is second to none in its viewership zeal.
Anjaan is a gangster flick and an all out action thriller, which the teaser clearly shows, and it is set against the back drop of the Mumbai criminal underworld.
Suriya appears in dual roles in the film and the female lead is the lovely Samantha. The supporting cast includes Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal and others.
It is being produced by Lingusamy himself under the banner of his home production company Thiruppathi Brothers in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film and it features a song sung by Suriya himself!
The movie is all set to hit the big screens come this Independence Day, on August 15th.
