King Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2 is all set to hit the screen on this Friday. The film was censored yesterday and was given a U/A certificate by the board. Everyone thought that Nag’s kissing scenes might be the reason for that decision but the cuts suggested by the board revealed that there is a lot of other stuff in the film.

One of the cuts suggested that blur the kissing scene between heroine Rakul Preet and Jhansi. This is now raising curiosity among the audience. whether it is a lip lock or a peck is yet to be known. A peck on the cheek will not be edited by the board and if that is being blurred, there might be something controversial in it.

Anyways, we will know the answer on this Friday. Meanwhile, the board has also cut many cuss words in the film. Overall, Manmadhudu 2 looks like a ‘modern’ age family entertainer with a lot of these elements. It is directed by Rahul Ravindran.

Sri Reddy is a sensational personality of 2018 who created ripples in Tollywood film industry with the allegations of the casting couch. She has openly stated that a lot of people cheated her in the name of providing offers. She even fought for a membership in MAA Association. Anchor Jhansi who is a part of the association recently opened up about the same issue in an interview. She said that it was their mistake in not looking at the issue properly.

“I have not spoken much about the casting couch issues. It is sad that people like me failed to support Sri Reddy when she is fighting. Staying silent was our mistake. We may have some personal differences with her but what she has pointed out is real and an existing issue in the film industry.” said Jhansi.

She also revealed that a panel was formed in the industry which comprises of Nandini Reddy, Manchu Lakshmi, Surpiya Yarlagadda and others.

Happy Wedding is the Telugu film that stars Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika Konidela in the lead roles. The film is directed by Lakshman Karya. The movie is produced by Pocket Cinemas banner. The pre-release event was held recently in Hyderabad and Jhansi hosted the event. During the event, Jhansi slipped her tongue and made a bitter punch on mega daughter Niharika Konidela.

There’s a dialogue in the film’s theatrical trailer where Niharika Konidela says that the guys behave as good chops during now and change their behaviour once the marriage is fixed. Basing on this dialogues Jhansi has opened up and Niharika if she has really witnessed any such things in her life.

Niharika who did not expect it coming went speechless for a while but Jhansi immediately managed to tell that Niharika might have seen some person in her life with similar attitude.

There were rumours about the relationship of Niharika and Nag Ashwin in the film industry and in this scenario these comments literally suited her.

These relentless fans seem to have gone a step ahead and now started shouting the name of Pawan at non-mega family events too. The audio launch event of Vangaveeti that was held in Vijayawada is the most recent example. Anchor Jhansi, who was anchoring the big event, couldn’t control her anger and fired on them.

‘Is this the kind of welcome you give to the guests who have come a long way to conduct the event in Vijayawada? Your favorite hero is known for his unflinching discipline, and you are just destroying his name and the image of Pawan Kalyan fans with these undisciplined acts,’ she uttered in rage.

Senior TV anchor Jhansi has been one of the most influential persons on Telugu small screen. She has been often raising her voice against women discrimination, and she has also anchored a few programmes highlighting the issues of women.

In a recent interview, she has revealed why she had a tiff with noted filmmaker R Narayana Murthy some years ago.

‘I was roped in by him to play a key role in one of his films. My character was said to fight fort the cause of people and lead them until the very climax. But, after four days of shoot, my character was surprisingly killed. When I questioned him, he told me that he didn’t like my nature of interacting with people on sets,’ Jhansi reminisced.

‘I walked out of the sets and never spoke to him till date,’ Jhansi added.

Senior anchor Jhansi has committed a blunder on stage and disrespected one of the legendary singers of South India, Yesudas.

A felicitation ceremony for Yesudas was held the other day in Tirupathi and Jhansi was handed the responsibility of anchoring. The senior anchor, in her excitement to use impeccable words to praise the legendary singer, uttered ‘Amara Gayakudu Yesudas garu’, right on the stage. All the attendees including Yesudas himself were stunned with her remark.

While few had to cover their faces to hide their laughter, others expected Jhansi to realize her mistake and seek an apology. The anchor, however, was in full flow and sadly she didn’t realize that she made the ‘Amara’ remark, which is only used for late people.

This embarrassing incident occurred during the success meet of ‘Manalo Okadu’ film.
