Director Anand Shankar made his debut in direction with the film Irumugan. The movie also released in Telugu with the title Inkokkadu. Vikram played the lead. The director did not have enough success rate in the film industry but he looks like settled in the personal life. Like never before, the director opened up about his personal life and tweeted about his girlfriend who is based out in Dubai. On the occasion of Diwali, the director shared the news on the social media.

The director last made the film NOTA with Vijay Devarakonda in the lead.

‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, for the first time is said to pair up with Lady Super Star Nayanthara for the first time. This film isn’t titled yet and will be helmed by ‘Arima Nambi’ fame Anand Shankar.

This project that must have been started at the beginning of the year is finally making its way onto the floors from coming month.

Earlier it was rumoured that Kajal Agarwal is likely to become the heroine of this film, but the final change saw Nayanthara on board. Casting in Nayan is a huge advantage for this film as she has been in the stupendous form ever in her career. On the other hand, Vikram needs to register a hit with this film as his previous two films ‘I’ and ’10 Enradhukulla’ have been disasters at the box-office.

Apart from Nayanthara, Bindu Madhavi will also be seen as a character in this action thriller.

Sources say that Vikram could likely appear in the role of a police officer. Vikram is currently working on this look and will soon come on to the sets once everything sets right.

Shibu Thameens will be financing this film. Vijay starrer socio-fantasy ‘Puli’ was also produced by Shibu.
