Popular Actor and politician MH Ambareesh died of a cardiac arrest on Saturday night. He was admitted to the emergency ward at a private hospital (Vikram Hospital) in Bangalore on Saturday night after he suffered breathlessness.
The veteran actor who is fondly called as Mandyada Gandu (man of Mandya) by the fans is the Rebel Star of Sandalwood. He had served as Minister of Housing, Karnataka Government in the Cabinet of Chef Minister Siddaramaiah from May 2013 to June 2016. He also appeared in more than 200 films and was last seen in ‘Ambi Ning Vayassaytho’ that was released in September this year. He debuted with legendary director Puttanna Kanagal’s National Award winning movie ‘Nagarahaavu’ and shared the screen space with popular Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan.
Ambareesh is well known for his roles in ‘Jaleela’, ‘Anta’, ‘Olavina udugure’. He was awarded the SIIMA lifetime achievement award in 2012. So many celebrities including Rajinikanth and fans are mourning his death.
