Alia is all set to mark her debut in Tollywood very soon. Recently, she opened up about how she landed up on the project. Rajamouli revealed that he met Alia at airport and discussed the project. Alia too confirmed the same.

“I met Rajamouli sir at Airport one day. I begged him literally to give me an opportunity in his next film. I told him that I would be ready to do any kind of role in the film. Fortunately, he selected me for the film. I am currently learning Telugu for the film.” said Alia.

Star director Rajamouli picked Daisy Edgar Jones and Alia Bhatt as the heroines for his upcoming film RRR. Edgar Jones will be paired opposite Jr NTR in the film while Alia Bhatt will be playing the romantic interest of Ram Charan in the film.

According to the film’s story, Ram Charan will be seen playing the role of Seetha Rama Raju Alluri. Rajamouli revealed that Alia Bhatt will be seen in the role of Seetha in the film whom Rama Raju loved during his education days.

Alia Bhatt is said to have a crucial role in the film and hers is one of the strong characters in the script. Rajamouli revealed that she will take the story forward.

On the occasion of the actress birthday today, the makers released a special poster of the heroine with her character name.
