Sensible filmmaker Nandini Reddy directed decent rom coms like Ala Modalaindi and Kalyana Vaibhogame. The lady director has been on a break from the past one-year and is yet to start her next project which will feature Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role.

The latest update is that Nandini Reddy penned an interesting script for a web series which completed shoot recently. Shashank Yeleti directed this web series and it will be soon aired on Yupp TV.
Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada played the lead roles in this web series. Navdeep wrapped up the entire shoot recently and Navdeep joined Bigg Boss after wrapping up the shoot. Swapna Dutt, Priyanka Dutt invested big on this web series and they bankrolled the project on Vyjayanthi Movies.

Remaking South films in Bollywood is certainly not a new concept. Time and again, the filmmakers in Bollywood have looked down South to find some ‘inspiration’ for their movies.

Movies like Ghajini,Rowdy Rathore,Ready,Wanted etc etc(the list goes on) have strengthened the belief of Bollywood filmmakers in South movies. The recent success of ‘Main Tera Hero’ which is a remake of the hit Telugu movie,’Kandireega’, has further added up to the list of successful remakes in Bollywood!

And now,rumour has it that the hugely successful Telugu Romantic Comedy,’Ala Modalaindi’,will be remade in Bollywood.
Reportedly, lengthy discussions are being taking place between Director Nandini Reddy and some leading Bollywood production houses. Sources als reveal that the Hindi Remake of the film will star new faces in all probability.
The film is likely to go on floors in August,if the reports are to be believed.

Director Nandini Reddy who last directed ‘Jabardasth’,which failed miserably at the box office,sure seems to be on a high with the remake offers of her debut flick rolling in. And deservingly so,given that the film was widely appreciated by the critics and audiences alike.

It remains to be seen whether the Hindi remake actually takes off. And if it does,whether it will be be able to create the same magic on screen,remains to be seen.
