Senior actress Tabu has been in the news for her recent successful ventures like Andhadhun and De De Pyaar De. She is also making her comeback into Telugu cinema after a long gap, with the upcoming Allu Arjun-Trivikram’s film. She will be seen as Bunny’s mother in the movie.

Meanwhile, Tabu has also been approached to play a key role in Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film, Virata Parvam. But apparently, she charged Rs. 60 lakhs as remuneration. Many heroines in Telugu film industry don’t get such remuneration and Tabu just shocked the makers with such a high quote. 

The talks are still going on and the makers are yet to take a call. Virata Parvam is a Naxalism based film which is set in the year 1992. It is being directed by Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady of this movie.

The latest buzz is that Tabu is going to be a part of Bharath starring Salman Khan in the lead role. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani in the primary cast. Ali Abbas Zafar is the director of the movie.

The director has confirmed the news saying that he is a big fan of Tabu and is excited to work with the actress. The actress also confirmed the same revealing that she is going to be a part of the project. Salman Khan is going to be seen in 5 different looks for Bharath. The film’s shoot is expected to progress in Abu Dhabi and Spain.

Tabu, who has flown to Jodhpur on Wednesday morning for the 19-year-old case linked with the poaching of two blackbucks, reportedly faced eve-teasing while exiting the airport. According to reports, a fan forcibly made his way into the security guards’ circle and misbehaved with Tabu. The bouncers immediately pushed him back, steering him clear off Tabu’s way.

While no official complaint has been filed yet, Tabu seemed in a state of shock after the incident. Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were accused of poaching blackbucks on the midnight of October 1-2, 1998 during the filming of the popular Hindi film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

All actors, including Salman, Saif, Tabu, Sonali and Neelam, will be present in the court for the pronouncement of the verdict. While Salman is facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, other actors have been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.

In a recent media interaction, she spoke about her relationship with Ajay Devgan. She said, “Ajay and I have known each other for 25 years. He was my cousin Sameer Arya’s neighbor and close buddy, a part of my growing up years and that has laid the foundation of our relationship.”

She further added that, “When I was young, Sameer and Ajay would spy on me, follow me around and threaten to beat up any boys who are caught talking to me. They were the big bullies, and if I am single today, it is because of Ajay. I hope he repents and regrets what he did.”
