Bengali actress Madhurima, who was last seen on Tollywood silver screen in a saucy item song in Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Dochay,’ has hit headlines by changing her name. She also played the sister role to Jr NTR in Temper movie.

Madhurima has changed her name to Nira. But, she refuted the rumors of changing her name to get film offers. Madhurima aka Nira said that Nira is her pet name while Madhurima is her official name.

She added, ‘as there is another actress with the same name, Bollywood actress Madhurima Tuli, a big confusion is happening. Once, my interview was published with her photos. Hence, I have decided to change my name’.

Madhuria hopes that from now on, she is called as Nira. She added that as she was not getting meaty roles in Tollywood, she migrated to Bollywood to test her luck. Nira was recently seen in Sunny Leone starrer ‘One Night Stand’.

Kollywood director Anil Kumar, who directed Tamil film “Serndhu Polama”, which is getting ready to rock the big screens on March 6th, 2015. In Serndhu Polama movie Vinay (Vaana fame) and Madhurima playing the main lead roles. Now the latest news is that director Anil Kumar unhappy with the hero and heroine Madhurima for not promoting the film. So he alleges on the main lead cast of the movie for refusing to take part in the promotional campaign.

Actress Madhurima acted in few Telugu movies and recently she acted as NTR’s sister in Temper movie, which is a key role of the film. Serndhu Polama is a romantic musical entertainer and produced by Sasi Nambeesan.

Madhurima, the actress who is in news from the past few days for having a tiff with Jr.NTR, is now a happy girl. Puri Jaganath himself clarified that there are no differences between Madhurima and Jr.NTR. But, few people are saying that Madhurima has few tiffs in the past in film industry.

They further mentioned that these tiffs in the past reduced chances for Madhurima in the industry. Even though Puri clarified it to the media, few celebrities are not believing it. As the flick shooting and the release has been done, they are saying that Puri is playing safe by avoiding issues.

But the recent success of “Temper” may chance the fate of Madhurima. She may further get good chances in the industry and may grow further as the best supporting actress or lead actress in South Indian film industry.
