Popular comedian Prudhvi has joined YS Jagan Moha Reddy’s YSR Congress PArty a few months back. Rather than being a silent member, Prudhvi campaigned for Jagan aggressively and also went on to criticize Pawan Kalyan in the recently concluded elections. At that time, it was also rumored that mega heroes decided to ban Prudhvi from their films.
Now, YCP won the elections and Jagan has become the Chief Minister. Soon after becoming the CM Jagan appointed Prudhvi as the chairman of Sri Venkateshwara Bhakti Channel (SVBC). Speaking at a recent press meet, Prudhvi said that people are feeling restless after he got the chairman post of SVBC. He also added that he had lost many offers after the appointment.
Prudhvi said that many producers are now asking to pay back the advances as they are not interested in casting him anymore. But Prudhvi clarified that he got the position due to the film industry and he will be indebted to the film folks forever. He assured that he will do his job right as the SVBC chairman.
