Suriya-starrer time-travel thriller ‘24’ released last Friday in the theatres. The film opened with a thumping response from the viewers in both Telugu and Tamil languages. This gave much needed satisfaction for the makers of the film. Even before they could enjoy it completely, the piracy of the film hit them badly. The producers of the movie have found that the film was pirated on the first day of its release in Bengaluru at PVR Orion Mall.

Feeling disappointed and worried about this situation, the producer Gnanavel Raja has announced indefinite hunger strike until the industry come forward to take certain measures in eradicating the piracy of his film. Gnanavel Raja has been on hunger strike since Friday evening. He hopes that the time has arrived for the entire film industry to come forward in sorting out the issue. The digital partner of the film, Qube in its statement revealed that the film was pirated during the 9.45 a.m. show on May 6 at PVR Orion Mall in Bengaluru. They could crack it with the unique forensic watermarking on the film.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film features Suriya in triple roles and it also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen in the female leads. AR Rahman scored the music for the film.

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who is known to be an avid movie buff, has recently taken his family to the acclaimed sci-fi thriller ’24’ starring Suriya.

After watching the film, the TS Minister can’t stop raving about the screenplay and the path-breaking concept. He requested Suriya for the watch used in the film for the sake of his children.

‘24’ is running to packed houses across the world. The film has been received well especially in overseas and A centres. Suriya’s performance, director Vikram Kumar’s brilliant screenplay, visuals and the score of AR Rahman are getting appreciation from all corners.

Latest reports suggest that Cine Galaxy, the distributors of the film in the US, have booked 267 screens for this film and few more screens might be added by the time of film’s release. This feat would not be possible if the movie was not releasing simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.

Also starring Samantha and Nithya Menon as leading oldies, the upcoming Vikram Kumar directorial film is having worldwide release on May 6. Suriya has essayed three different characters in the film.Premiers are being planned in a grand way on 5th May across North America.

Kollywood star hero Suriya who has been tempting his Telugu fans of doing a straight film in Telugu, has finally started the process of making the film. This film will be directed by wordsmith Trivikram Srinivas.

The film is obviously a bilingual. The heroine and other cast, crew weren’t confirmed yet but the regular shooting will begin from July 2016.

Currently Trivikram is mingled with his next flick ‘A..Aa,’ Nithin and Samantha are the hero, heroine in the film. This family entertainer is produced by S.Radha Krishna. Once this film gets completed, Trivikram will pen down the final script of Suriya’s film.

On the other hand, Suriya has completed his sci-fi film ‘24’ which is directed by Vikram. He is gearing up for ‘Singham 3’ which is the third part of Singham franchise.

Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu got the first offer for Suriya’s 24 movie, but the actor rejected the film citing some script issues. Recently the filmmakers have released the first look posters of Suriya from the film 24. The film is said to be a science fiction thriller film written and directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame.

As per the sources, director Vikram Kumar first approached Mahesh Babu with the script of 24 movie. Mahesh Babu liked the first half, and he was not happy with the second half, so he rejected the movie. Finally, Kollywood actor Suriya gets that project.

As per the reports, Suriya will be seen in a triple role in the film. Suriya will be playing an elder brother and younger brother. Apart from that he will also be seen as the son of the elder brother. Samantha and Nithya Menon are the heroines in the movie.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is now busy with the shooting of his much-awaited project “Brahmotsavam” and it’s slated for Summer 2016 release. Srikanth Addala is the director and PVP Prasad is the producer. Samantha, Kajal, and Pranitha are the heroines.
