The success of young actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been phenomenal. The lad from the small screen made it big on the Bollywood marquee, something which happens with very few actors.
Earlier, talents like Manoj Bajpayi, Ashutosh Rana and Ronit Roy have proved it with their commendable performances but Sushant’s success at a commercial level in Bollywood is one of its kind. Talking about the same, his friend from small screen Aditya Redji shared with PTI that Sushant’s success is a very positive sign for TV Stars.
“He is a very good friend of mine. And I am very proud of his achievements in Bollywood. He is doing very well. He has opened up the possibility of TV actors getting good work in Bollywood. He has shown that it is not that difficult and you just have to work hard and you can achieve success” said Aditya.
Sushant Singh is raring to go on the silver screen, especially after his successes with films like Shahid and Shuddh Desi Romance.
The 30 year old Aditya Redji, who is known for playing one of the leads in a popular TV serial, Na Aana Is Des Laado, will be seen playing the role of a police inspector in the upcoming crime series, Encounter on Sony Television. The series will be hosted by none other than Manoj Bajpai.
“I am part of the first story. I play an inspector named Bhagat Dev. I am happy to be part of such a show, which is path breaking in a way. It is not just a crime show. It will deal with the back stories of the main characters” he shared excitedly.
It is overwhelming to see success meter of one small actor giving hope many other talented aspirants in the telly.
