It was widely publicised that Sunny Leone was doing her second item song in Tamil in the movie Oru Oorle Rendu Raja but now reports indicate that the actress has turned the offer down, and she has been replaced by Neetu Chandra!
The song in the movie was supposed to be shot in Chalakudy, Kerala, and was supposed to be a ‘rain’ song but apparently the porn star turned sizzle sensation couldn’t travel to the location on the set dates and had to pull back from the project.
The film makers though didn’t spend much time in dismay as they immediately looked for a replacement and found one in the gorgeous and steamy Neethu – who took the job quite gratefully, one might add.
What is surprising though is that Sunny bailed on the flick after demanding Rs 35 lacs for the just the one song, which the producer had agreed to, as her mass appeal among Tamil audiences had grown due to the first item song she did in Vadacurry.
The paycheck itself was unheard of for a single song which required a few days of filming, so it begs the question – exactly how busy is the upcoming Leela star these days?
Neethu anyways has no qualms with her being the replacement to Sunny. The diva is not a new face in Kollywood as she has appeared in a few movies before. Her last flick was Settai.
The song which is at the centre of all this brou ha ha, is a glamorous one to be shot tastefully with an exotic location at Chalakkudy as the backdrop. It will be choreographed by Brinda Master and Porotta Soori too will star alongside Neethu in this one.
