Hero turned comedian Sunil is in no mood of accepting another flop after back to back disasters from past two years. His last hit was ‘Poola Rangadu’ that released three years ago. Post that he wasn’t successful in impressing neither the audience nor the box-office.
After a long gap, he started ‘Krishnashtami’ under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations produced by Dil Raju. This film is what Sunil is banking on. Now, this one too is turning out to become a nightmare, even before its release.
‘Krishnashtami’ was earlier planned of releasing in January. But this doesn’t seem to be a successful release as Jr NTR’s ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Dictator’ occupying major theatres in both the states, Sunil is having no scope for releasing his film.
While January is a packed month how about December? Well, that is much more competitive than January. In this month films like ‘Shankarabaranam,’ ‘Bengal Tiger,’ ‘Soukyam’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ are releasing in the span of not many days.
With December and January becoming a houseful, Sunil is left with no other option but to postpone. If he doesn’t and chooses to take some risk, then it will be a huge blow for as all the films stated above have some good buzz in the market compared with ‘Krishnasthami.’
