Suniel Shetty, who is the brand ambassador of the Indian hockey team, is now all set to raise funds for the benefit of the national sport. “When the actor learnt about the miserable plight of the hockey team, he promptly offered to take action. He will soon organise a match, which will have his friends from the film industry participating,” said a source.
Suniel is known to be a sportsperson and he is very patriotic too. Not too long ago, the actor arranged a cricket match for a charity organisation at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade and Kabir Sadanand were among the few celebrities who participated in it. The proceeds collected from the match have been reportedly donated to an institution for physically challenged children.(DC)
