Sudheer Babu, who has recently made his Bollywood debut with ‘Baaghi’, is all set to play the role of star badminton player Pullela Gopichand in his biopic.
The project has been in discussions for a long time and Sudheer Babu has been attached to it. It is heard that all the roadblocks for the project have now cleared and the discussions are in final stage. Sudheer’s athletic body made him the frontrunner to play the badminton player on screen.
The project will simultaneously be made in Telugu and Hindi. Gopichand’s popularity across the nations is a plus for the makers. Discussions are on with the top production houses of Bollywood to release the film in Hindi.
Sudheer Babu has already got good marks for ‘Baaghi’ so makers are coming forward to make this project a reality.
