
Suchitra also leveled some serious allegations against singer Chinmayi through a string of controversial tweets on Friday night. Suchitra’s husband Karthik Kumar has said her condition is ‘indicative of a certain emotional state’ his family is trying to understand and address.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Suchitra went live on a news channel and explained that her Twitter account was hacked three weeks back. She said, “I actively expressed my support for Jallikattu during the student protests and subsequently, my Facebook account was hacked. Immediately, I deactivated my profile temporarily. Three weeks back, my Twitter account was also compromised and I sent an e-mail to the Twitter team to deactivate my page. I was under the impression that my account was taken down until I received a call from Aditi Ravindranath from Dhanush’s office who requested me to delete the series of controversial tweets, images, and videos from my account overnight.”
