A success party was hosted by producer Ekta Kapoor to celebrate the success of Main Tera Hero last night in Mumbai. Bollywood celebrities took time out and joined Varun Dhawan and Ileans D’Cruz to be a part of the celebration. Nargis Fakhri was unavailable as she has to take off overseas to travel for an ad commercial shoot with John Abraham and M S Dhoni.
Main Tera Hero collected a whopping 22 crores all over the first weekend, confirming the film to be a blockbuster hit. Varun Dhawan’s performance as Seenu was greatly appreciated by both the critics and the audience. This is the second this year for Ekta Kapoor, the first being Ragini MMS2.
Actresses Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Alia Bhatt and Anita Reddy were also spotted at the event. The other celebs included director Punit Malhotra, Prabhu Deva, David Dhawan, Actor Arunoday Singh, Divya Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Neelam, Samir Soni, Luv Sinha and Udita Goswami, among others.
The leading lady Ileana D’Cruz looked cute in a black cropped top and black jeggings coupled with black pumps, making a statement. Sonakshi Sinha wore the quite opposite, short white dress with white pumps. Ekta Kapoor made an effort to get into a green evening gown while Alia Bhatt wore a pretty short navy blue dress.
Both Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor were seen tugging on to each other, making an impression that they have something really going on besides just acting together as co-stars. The evening saw the celebrities make merry and raise a toast to the success of Main Tera Hero.
