Tamilnadu Dubbing Union has terminated the membership of popular dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada. She named Radha Ravi in MeToo movement saying that he harassed a lot of women in the past. Irked with these comments, Radha Ravi, who heads the union terminated the membership of Chinmayi citing some small reasons.
An upset and angered Chinmayi filed a case in Tamil Nadu High Court. The court has now ordered a stay on the ban put up by the union. Chinmayi confirmed the same and expressed happiness over the same.
“I have been awarded an interim stay order by the Honble Court regarding my ban from the Tamilnadu Dubbing Union. It is a long legal battle ahead. Hope justice will prevail. Thank you.” posted Chinmayi on Twitter.
