From Raj Kapoor to Aishwarya Rai, Russia’s romance with Bollywood continues. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev was in Mumbai on December 22, and on the agenda was a visit to the sets of ‘Ra.One’ at Yash Raj Studios to meet Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
SRK and Kareena danced for the president and even wanted to record a song for him but couldn’t do so for security reasons.
The Russian President also met with Yash Chopra and other B’wood biggies. He also had a lot of good things to say about the industry, revealing that there was a channel in Russia that showed only Indian movies 24 hours a day. He added that Indian cinema had become international, and that he wanted people from Russia to learn filmmaking in India.(IANS)
