Family hero Srikanth was celebrated his birthday on yesterday (march23rd, 2011) at FNCC in Hyderabad and Srikanth’s upcoming film Virodhi logo also revealed on the same stage. Now the movie is under post production works. Movie makers are planning to release the movie soon.
Directors Krishnavamsi, Posani and actors Ajay, Kamal Kamaraju, Sri Ramya, music director R P Patnaik also attended the event.
Virodhi is being directed by Neelakantha and produced by Sirkanth’s brother Anil Meka under Meka Entertainments banner. Music director RP Patnaik has scored the music for this film.
Virodhi is being made with a backdrop of Naxalism and most part of the film was shot in forests near Gangavathi in Karnataka and Vikarabad. Srikanth is playing the role of an intelligent journalist. Kamal Kamaraju and Kamalinee Mukherjee will be seen in other important roles.
Director Neelakantha said the film deals with Naxalism , but that will be shown in different manner .Srikanth also said that my career was started with a film called People’s Encounter that dealt with Naxalism. Now after 20 years i am coming up with the same type of film Virodhi.
