Kollywood actor Vijay’s new film Puli is getting ready for release soon, and it will also be releasing in Telugu. Already the dubbing rights for Telugu version Puli were sold out. Actress Sridevi played a significant role in the movie. Now the latest buzz in the industry is that Sridevi has demanded Rs 1 crore to give her voice for Telugu version of Puli. Shoba Rani of SVR Media has bagged the distribution rights of Puli’s Telugu version.
Sridevi plays the role of a Queen in the movie. After 29 years, Sridevi is making her comeback to Tamil cinema with the film Puli. Sridevi looks like an evil princess in the trailer and her look seems inspired from Hollywood star Angelina Jolie in ‘Maleficent’.
Shruti Hassan and Hansika played the female lead roles in the film. Hansika will be seen as Sridevi’s daughter in the flick. Kannada actor Sudeep is also playing an important role in the movie.
Puli movie, directed by Chimbu Deven and Devi Sri Prasad, scored the music. The film is expected to hit the big screens in October.
