When Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss collaborated for a film, it was expected to create hype in business circles and do huge business. Buoyed by the expanded market and widened reach of Telugu cinema post ‘Baahubali’ franchise, SPYder seems to have lived up to the expectations as far as pre-release business is concerned.
SPYder reached 750 Cr Pre-Release Business including non-theatrical rights. The high-tech action thriller raked in over 120 Cr from the worldwide theatrical rights. This amount is a crore more or less to the money pumped in by the producers to make the film on a grand scale.
The film also features Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead role. Spyder is set to hit the screens on September 27th.
