Kamal Haasan, the star and maker of the mega flick was very vocal about defending his creation and eventually the matters were settled and now it’s time for the sequel – which is mostly set in India unlike the previous one.
What’s the delay then?
Well, according to Pooja Kumar, who plays the female lead in the flick says the special effects are what’s delaying the project. Apparently there are a lot of special effects and this raises the anticipation for the film more in a way, as it’s promised to be a visual spectacle.
The movie completed its production work some time back and post production, which includes the effects part, is in full swing.
Pooja plays the role of Kamal’s wife and is a nuclear oncologist in the film. Reports indicate that she did a few of her own stunts in this one – notably a few underwater sequences.
Vishwaroopam 2 has most of the cast of the first part including Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapoor, Rahul Bose and Waheeda Rahman. The music of the film has been scored by M Ghibran.
Apart from Vishwaroopam 2, Kamal is also busy with Uthama Villain touted as another major epic from the legendary actor.
In fact, the movie which has a lot of musical content pushed Kamal into acquiring an ancient musical instrument to be used in it. Authenticity is paramount to him, sources say.
