Sonu Sood’s Bollywood star has been burning bright since ‘Dabangg’ and now we hear he’s on his way to Hollywood. Buzz is the actor has been signed on for the movie adaptation of the Booker Prize winning ‘The Life of Pi’ written by Yann Martel.
It’s not confirmed who’ll be playing the 16-year-old lead character Pi Patel, but the role of Pi’s father (a meaty character in the book) has apparently been offered to Sonu. We hear that Sonu met with director Ang Lee some time ago to discuss the role.
It seems the meeting went really well, but Sonu will need to lose that super-toned ‘Dabangg’ body to play dad to a 16-year-old. And we totally see him doing it for his ticket to Hollywood.
