Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Mohenjo Daro” has been in the news for quite some time now.
The news which made headlines was that Hrithik was signed on to play the lead role.
And now, there’s another update to the project.
If rumours are anything to go by, Sonakshi will be seen romancing Hrithik in “Mohenjo-Daro”.
Speaking about the film to a prominent media house, Sonakshi said, “Nothing has been decided as yet. We talk to a lot of people but I don’t think its right to say anything about it. Until a film is signed, it’s still tentative.”
When asked if she would like to be a part of such films, Sonakshi said, “I would like to do a period film. I would like to work with a director like Ashutosh Gowariker whose films I really like to watch. So yeah I would like to.”
An official announcement for the film is still awaited. With Hrithik having signed the dotted line, the confirmed news of Sonakshi doing the same should be out soon too.
A source close to the project also reveals that Ashutosh’s favourtie music director, A.R. Rahman, will be composing music for this film as well, just like Ashutosh’s previous films.
