SRK in Slumdog Millionaire?
Chitramala.com already reported that British filmmaker Danny Boyle’s next film titled Slumdog Millionaire has a Mumbai backdrop. The film tells the story of a Mumbai slum kid who contests in the TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati to catch the attention of a girl who watches the programme everyday. It is a love story with unusual twists.
According to the usually reliable sources, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan may play a small but important role in Slumdog Millionaire. Since Shah Rukh is the host of KBC, it is learnt that Danny Boyle might cast the superstar as the host of the show in the film. Slumdog Millionaire has been written by Simon Beaufoy, who wrote The Full Monty, and will star British newcomer Dev Patel in the lead role.
