Punjabi pop singer Labh Janjua, who sang several popular Bollywood songs, was found dead in his Goregaon apartment on Thursday morning.
He was found dead at his residence in Goregaon. The Police denied answering weather asked for a suicide. Many news channels and National Media are assuming that this sudden death could defiantly be a suicide.
Janjua was best known for his bhangra number “Mundiyaan Toh Bach Ke” in 1998. ‘Mundiyaan Toh Bach Ke’, which was remixed by Panjabi MC in 1998 and re-released in 2002.
He had also sung some popular Bollywood songs ‘Dance Pe Chance’ from ‘Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi’, ‘Soni De Nakhre’ from ‘Partner’ and ‘Dil Kare Chu Che’ from the recently released film ‘Singh Is Blling’.
Janjua’s wife and daughter are currently living in Punjab. When the maid turned up this morning and banged the door, there wasn’t any response from the inside, under the influence of doubt his maid informed the police. After the arrival of the cops, they broke the door and found that Janjua was dead, said Police.
Last night, Janjua was reported of telephoning his wife and informed about his uneasy health.
