Simran sued producer for Rs 20 Cr?
As part of her second innings, Simran acted in Okka Magadu in Telugu. She also acted in a Malayalam film titled Heartbeats along with Indrajith, directed by Vinu Anand and produced by Jolly Joseph. The story for this film is written by the producer himself. The film is released but failed to impress either the critics or the audience.
However, Kollywood circles are abuzz that the producer concealed some vital twist in the film while narrating the story to Simran before signing her. The actress is said to be simmering that a particular aspect of the narration shows her in a very bad light. It is reported that she filed a suit against the producer of Heartbeats demanding a compensation of Rs 20 Crores!
