Both the heroes and the director are facing a series of debacles and are in dire need of a hit film. However, both Sunil and Allari Naresh are experts in generating comedy. Let’s check out the review of the film.
On his deathbed, a minister reveals a secret of 500 crores to MLA Jacket (Jayaprakash Reddy). But within a few minutes, MLA gets into an accident and goes into coma. Though he recovers from his coma soon, he suffers from memory loss and behaves like a 10-year-old kid. On the other hand, while conducting mass wedding ceremonies, the MLA makes Veerababu (Sunil) marry a prostitute (Pushpa). No matter where he goes, people start insulting Veerababu by calling him the husband of Pushpa. Allari Naresh who is the right hand of the MLA, gives 10 Lakhs to the MLA to get a police job and to marry his lover. But as the MLA suffers from memory loss, Naresh’s lover starts harassing him to get a job. What happens to Sunil and Allari Naresh at the end? Where are the 500 crores? forms the rest of the story.
Both Allari Naresh and Sunil are the major highlights of the film. Actor Sunil has played full-length comedian role in this flick. As they both are experienced in generating comedy the audience will get entertain throughout the film. Pushpa’s character is really entertaining. The audience will definitely enjoy watching her character. Both the heroines Chitra Shukla and Poorna got interesting roles and will impress the audience with their performances. Jayaprakash Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, Raghu etc also delivered their best performances and generate hilarious comedy. especially in the climax part, their performance is worth appreciating and will definitely make the audience laugh. Needless to say, Brahmanandam delivered his best performance. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
The story is not only interesting but also is full of fun. The director seems to have updated and tried to generate comedy in a different way. He narrated the story well by engaging the audience with comedy. The production values by Kiran Reddy and Bharat Chaudhary under People Media Factory and Blue Planet Entertainment are rich. It is evident that the producers have not compromised in terms of budget and quality. Music by Sri Vasant is also very nice. The dialogues are definitely the major plus points in the movie. Editing is clean and neat.
The cinematography is also impressive. Overall, the technical department has given their best.
The runtime is crisp. Every scene succeeds in generating comedy and will make the audience laugh. There are no boring scenes at all. In fact, there is not much difference between Tamil version and Telugu version in terms of the story. But the dialogues are changed to entertain the Tollywood people. As the full-length comedies are not coming out these days, ‘Silly Fellows’ is attracting the audience. It is a complete comedy entertainer. Even the songs are also good. The punch dialogues and the situational comedy worked out well. On the whole, ‘Silly Fellows’ is a worth watching movie that gives a fun-filled ride to the audience.
