Shruti Haasan is in a relationship with Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, as reported in the Mumbai Mirror, a widely circulate news daily in Mumbai.
Shruti was frequently spotted at Raina’s matches, showing her support to his team Chennai Super Kings at the IPL matches in 2013.
A source close to the couple was quoted as saying, “Raina used to consider her his lucky mascot. This year, she has kept away from the cricket grounds thinking that their relationship might be under scrutiny.Yet Raina is playing extremely well.”
“So the superstition has obviously ended. It is a mature relationship now and they are in love. But they are trying to keep it private and not speak about it in public. And I think they do deserve that much privacy”
Suresh’s unbeaten 54 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai against Mumbai Indians at the quarter finals, is certainly proof of that.
According to the report the duo tries their best to meet, despite their busy schedules.
Previously Shruti was in a relationship with Siddharth, but that ended when she walked out of his life. Raina was also rumoured to be dating Poorna Patel, daughter of former Union minister Praful Patel.
Raina was also rumoured to be dating Anushka Sharma. But now that she’s dating Raina’s team mate Virat Kohli, we can easily call the previous news as simply rumours.
Shruti Hassan is currently riding high on the success of her last blockbuster, ‘Race Gurram’, which shattered many previous records.
