Injuries and Mishaps in film shootings are often heard but a tragedy in a movie shoot today has saddened the entire film fraternity.
Going into details, two actors named Uday and Anil were reportedly found dead in Thippagondanahalli reservoir (about 35kms away from Bengaluru). The tragedy took place when the actors were performing a stunt for Kannada actor Duniya Vijay’s yet-to-release movie Mastigudi.
According to the reports, Anil and Uday jumped into the water body from a chopper right after the hero did (as a part of a choreographed action sequence). However, much to the shock of the entire film unit, the two actors were found dead before they could be rescued by the nearby rescue boat.
Hero Vijay also survived the mishap by a whisker. The film unit who witnessed the tragedy just couldn’t believe their eyes and are still in trauma, as per close sources. It is indeed disheartening to know about the death of two young passionate actors in a tragedy like this.
