When Shilpa Shetty started her spa venture some time ago, it seemed like the perfect business for the gorgeous star. Who better than the lovely and svelte Shilpa to get people to pamper themselves with her brand name? But now it looks like her business is facing a setback. Apparently, Shilpa’s spa branch in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area has shut down a few months ago and the flagship spa venue in the Khar locality will also be closing soon as well.
Buzz is that the spas might shut down permanently, but the star herself says that there’s been an issue with rising rents and that she is on the lookout for new business space. So there’s going to be no shutting down of the spas, just a change of venue. Shilpa’s also planning a lot of new elements once the spas move, so we’ll be on the lookout for that as well.
