We are already aware that Tamil blockbuster film 96 is being remade in Telugu with Sharwanand and Samantha as the leads. C. Prem Kumar, who directed the original, is also helming this project. Popular producer Dil Raju is bankrolling it. The film was launched earlier this month.
The regular shoot kick-started a few days back in Mauritius. The makers are currently shooting the introduction song of Sharwanand there. After wrapping up the work in Mauritius, they will head out to Kenya to shoot some more portions of the same song. Then they will come back to India.
Here, the makers are planning to shoot in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam. Samantha will join the set in India schedule. The film is touted to be released either in September or October of this year.
