A complaint has been filed with a local court in Jaipur against Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor for allegedly smoking publicly at Sanganer airport here.
The complainant Nem Singh, a lawyer, has sought action against the actor and the airport authority under Section 5/11 of Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act.
The complaint was filed in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Girish Kumar Ojha and the matter had been posted for hearing today, June 6.
And if rumours are anything to go by, he was arrested today morning.
A photograph of Kapoor in which he is seen smoking was published yesterday in a newspaper and is the ground of the complaint.
The airport director was not available for comment as he was engaged with some official meeting.
Meanwhile, the career of Shakti Kapoor is going nowhere as he is hardly seen in any films. The movies which he has been a part of in the past, have all been the ones where he hardly had any part to play.
Shakti Kapoor was last seen in old friend David Dhawan’s “Main Tera Hero”, in a small cameo.
However, his daughter, Shraddha Kapoor, seems to be on a roll as she is cruising her way to the top. Shraddha, who shot to fame with “Aashiqui 2” is one of the most desirable women of the country.
Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in Vishesh films’ “Ek Villain” alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Ritesh Deshmukh.
