Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who is pretty much relieved after the success of his latest film ‘Udta Punjab,’ has another reason to celebrate.
His wife Mira Rajput is currently pregnant with their first baby. Shahid said that he has taken full paternity leave and has decided to stay with his wife until she delivers the baby. He added that he witnessed how much his mother struggled when his younger brother (Ishaan) was born, so he wants to stay by his wife’s side and help her go through the phase.
Meanwhile, ‘Udta Punjab’ is doing pretty great at the box office. The controversy created by the Censor Board seems to have helped the film to gain the curiosity among movie lovers. Also starring Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor, the film is praised for its authentic portrayal of drug menace in Punjab.
