Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was on Friday served notices by the BMC after his neighbor and National award winning actress Vidya Balan was diagnosed with dengue.
BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) served notices to Shahid after he failed to prevent breeding of mosquitoes that cause dengue inside the swimming pool in his apartment on Juhu Tara Road in Mumbai. Notice has been served to him under section 382 of the BMC Act, and he might have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000.
During the surveillance drive, the BMC’s insecticide department found dengue causing mosquitoes breeding in the unused swimming pool in Shahid Kapoor’s apartment, which is on the ground floor of the apartment that Vidya Balan also lives in.
Meanwhile, Vidya Balan has reportedly been put under observation.
