Almost every alternate day we come across few incidents of robbery and the involvement of innocent people is clearly visible. This time we have a new victim in the form of senior actress Rajasree. The actress was robbed of jewellery at T Nagar on Tuesday. The way she was robbed was also sketched in cinema style. And the police have received a complaint and they started the investigation on the issue.
Going into the police officials reports, the actress had secured her jewels at a bank on Panagal Street. On Tuesday, when she went to the bank along with her son, Srinivasan to withdraw Rs 10 lakh worth jewellery from the bank , in their return to home the incident took place. And there is lot of drama involved this,when her son went to a nearby shop by stopping the car, an unidentified man approached Rajashri and informed her that a few currency notes had fallen down. Assuming that those are hers, she left the jewelry and peeped out to check the currency notes. Taking this as an advantage, the suspicious men robbed the jewellery.
Rajashri is a popular actress in the south cinema during the period of 1960’s and 70s. Some of her hit films are classics like ‘Bama Vijayam’ and ‘Kaadhalika Neramillai’.
