Popular Malayalam actor and director Raju Daniel who is also known as Captain Raju breathed his last due to a massive heart stroke. Captain Raju is popular as an actor in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and English languages. He was seen in more than 500 movies. Before making his debut into the movies, he worked as an army officer.
With the interest in acting, Captain Raju left the army job and entered the movies. The actor played a lot of villain roles in South and he was seen in Telugu too. Sathruvu, Bali Danam, Rowdy Alludu, Kondapalli Raja, Jailer Gari Abbayi, Gandeevam, Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam, Matho Pettukoku and others are the Telugu films that he acted in.
He is survived by his wife Prameela and son Ravi. May his soul rest in peace.
